A Recovering Negativist – Or The Better It Gets, The Better It Gets – Esther Hicks
I was in my Zumba class – love it – and as I was approaching a friend said to a woman standing next to her, “she’s one of those positive thinkers.”
Yes I have to admit it, I am one of those positive thinker types. I’ve had other variations of that said by others, but it wasn’t necessarily meant as a compliment. My brother used to kid me about my “miss positive” tendency also. It bugged him at times. It seems odd to me that someone being positive might push a button. I’ve been reading the Esther Hicks cards Money, and the Law of Attraction and one of them says “When you deliberately seek positive aspects of whatever you are giving your attention to, you, in a sense, tune your vibrational tuner to more positive aspects of everything.”
One thing I’ve figured out is that we’re creating all the time with our thoughts and feelings. Most of the time we’re not aware of what requests we’re sending out to the world. I try to stay focused on what I WANT more than what I don’t want, but I have to say, it’s work and it’s not always easy. However, as a recovering negativist from way back when, I find my life works so much better with this focus and effort.
